Adjani Peralta
Picture
Dr. Adjani Antonela Peralta has a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University. She also finished a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from Central European University (2013), a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Amsterdam (2015) and a PhD in Environmental Health with a specialty in Environmental Epidemiology from Harvard University (2020). Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Exposure, Epidemiology, and Risk (EER) Program within the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is also a Postdoctoral Guest Researcher at the Environmental Epidemiology Division of the Institute of Risk Assessment Sciences at Utrecht University, The Netherlands.

Her research focuses on how short and long-term effects of ambient air pollution can impact cardiovascular health among vulnerable populations. She has explored a variety of exposures including particle radioactivity, metals, and temperature fluctuations. She utilizes various methodological techniques to explore these associations including machine learning methods.
